Spaghetti Sauce

Homemade Spaghetti Sauce that will rock your socks!!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1/2 lbs. Italian turkey sausage
  • 1 med. onion
  • 1 sml. white mushrooms
  • 4 garlic
  • 3 tbs. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 can diced tomatoes, canned
  • 15 oz. tomato sauce
  • 12 oz. tomato paste
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 1/2 c. white wine
  • 2 tbs. coconut sugar
  • 3 tsp. fresh basil
  • 3 tsp. dried oregano
  • 2 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp. sea salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme, ground, organic
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper

Directions

-Cook beef, sausage, and chopped onion. Drain and set aside. Saute mushrooms and garlic in coconut oil until tender.

-Add meat to mushrooms and the remaining ingredients.

-Cover and bring to boil. Reduce heat and cook for 25 mins, stirring occasionally.
