Pureed Cauliflower

A tasty alternative to mashed potatoes, with cauliflower, cheese, and Greek yogurt.


  • 1 head cauliflower, fresh, organic
  • 3 tbs. yogurt, greek, plain, full-fat, plain, organic
  • 1 tbs. butter, unsalted, organic, raw or unpasteurized, grass-fed/pastured
  • 2 oz. cheddar cheese, mild, raw, organic
  • sea salt, unrefined, & fresh ground pepper, organic to taste


Remove stem from cauliflower, rinse and cut the cauliflower into small pieces. Put a cup or more water in a large pot, add the cauliflower, bring to a boil and then simmer until the cauliflower is tender, about 10 minutes. Take cauliflower out of pot using a slotted spoon, and put into large mixing bowl. Add about 2 tbsp of the cooking water into the mixing bowl and blend until smooth, adding the Greek yogurt, butter, cheese, and salt and pepper. Total blending time about 15-30 seconds. Serve hot. Serving size 1 cup.
