Quinoa Porridge with Blueberries and Pecans

Quinoa served as a breakfast porridge with blueberries, pecans and a touch of maple syrup.


  • 1/2 c. quinoa, white, organic
  • 1/2 oz. pecans, raw, organic
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract, organic
  • 1 dsh. cinnamon, ground, organic
  • 1 tbs. maple syrup, pure, organic
  • 1/4 c. blueberries, fresh, organic
  • 1 1/2 c. almond milk, unsweetened, organic


Bring the quinoa, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and maple syrup to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer, covered, for about 15 minutes (or until tender).

Mix in the blueberries and top with the pecans. Enjoy!
