I found this recipe in the Family Fun magazine. I changed the 1/2 teaspoon of sugar to 1/2 teaspoon of stevia. Other than that the recipes is perfect and simply delicious! My daughter who hates cabbage will even beg for more.
Place a large rimmed baking sheet on an oven rack in the lowest position and heat the oven to 500 degrees F. Trim the bottoms of the sprouts, peel and discard any unhappy-looking leaves, and halve or quarter the sprouts.
In a large bowl, drizzle the sprouts with the oil and toss until they're evenly coated. Sprinkle with salt and stevia and toss to gently combine.
Remove the hot baking sheet from the oven. Carefully transfer the sprouts to the sheet and spread them evenly, flat sides down.
Place the sprouts in the oven and roast them until they're well browned and tender, 10-12 minutes. Serve immediately with lemon wedges if desired.
1 cup = 1 severing of protein!
