Looking for a sugar-free applesauce?? Here it is! THIS IS SO YUMMY!!!!
Wash, peel, and core apples (use any kind you like). Cut the slices up into smaller pieces and put in a deep pan. Add the pitted dates, cinnamon sticks, and water. Cover the pan. Put the pan on the stove over low heat until it starts to boil. You may have to stir occasionally, but for the most part try to keep it covered. Once it comes to a boil, turn the heat as low as possible and uncover the pan for about an hour, stirring occasionally. Once most of the liquid is gone, turn off the heat and let the stuff cool. After cooling, take out the cinnamon sticks and pour the rest of the applesauce into your food processor and blend it until it's of applesauce consistency. This is FABULOUS, SUPER SWEET, and best of all NO SUGAR ADDED!!!!
