Green Beans with Almonds and Goji Berries

Green beans with almond and goji berries in a butter citrus dressing.


  • 1/2 c. green beans, fresh, organic
  • 1 tsp. butter, unsalted, organic, raw or unpasteurized, grass-fed/pastured
  • 1/2 oz. almonds, slivered, organic, raw
  • 1 tbs. lemon juice, pure, organic
  • 1/2 tbs. goji berries, organic
  • sea salt, unrefined and pure to taste


Combine butter, goji berries, and salt in a small saucepan and heat, stirring constantly to dissolve the salt, until butter is melted. Add the lemon juice, and set aside. Steam the green beans (about 3 minutes) just until tender then sprinkle with the almonds and dress with the lemon-butter mixture.
