My mom used to make this all the time when we were kids. I tweeked it a little to make it BD friendly. This is the PERFECT accompany with Cold chicken breast or thighs on a hot summer day. its a great picnic and potluck food too. 1/2 cup is one serving

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 c. milk, raw or organic
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 3 c. frozen baby peas
  • 3/4 c. celery
  • 1/4 c. green onion

Directions

Mix the greek yogurt, milk and seasoning until smooth. This is supposed to be a spin on a ranch dressing, so if you find a better recipe for it then please feel free to use that instead... This is just what I like. mix the peas, scallions and celery together to form a salad and pour the "ranch dressing" over it and coat well. serve right away or store in the fridge for up to 5 days.

I serve it with cold chicken or steak usually.
