Homemade Philly Cheese-steak (w/o Bun)

I was craving a Philly Cheesesteak so I got a little creative... Turned out delicious!


  • 1 lbs. beef, ground, free-range or grass-fed, organic
  • 1/2 c. onion, any type, organic
  • 1/2 c. bell pepper, green, fresh, organic
  • 1 c. mushrooms, white, organic
  • 1/4 c. cheese, mozzarella, whole fat, raw, grass-fed or pastured, organic
  • 1 tbs. olive oil, extra virgin, unrefined and unfiltered, organic


Cook the ground beef over medium heat in large skillet. Drain the grease. In separate small pan, heat olive oil, then saute onions, green peppers until ground beef is done. Add onions, green peppers & mushrooms to large skillet and mix in well with beef. Heat for additional minute or two til mushrooms are warm. Sprinkle on mozarella cheese on top of beef and allow to slightly melt. Serve warm. No bun needed! Makes 3-4 servings.
