Chicken and Yam Curry

Must be a lover of curry and cinnamon.


  • 2 clove garlic, fresh, organic
  • 2 pce. ginger, fresh, organic
  • 2 tbs. curry powder, organic
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon, ground, organic
  • 1 tbs. coconut oil, raw, extra-virgin, organic
  • 3 chicken breast, skin-on, organic, free-range
  • 2 yam, organic
  • 1/4 c. chicken broth, organic, free-range
  • 1 onion, any type, organic
  • 1 banana, fresh, organic



Chop chicken breasts into bite size pieces and sauté in 1/4 cup of chicken broth and sprinkle some sea salt.

In another skillet heat up the coconut oil and then add the onions, garlic, banana and ginger. When the onion mixture is cooked add cooked yams. Add your curry and cinnamon and mix. Add this mixture to chicken that is cooked and maybe a touch more chicken broth so that a nice thick glaze is forming.

And for crockpot lovers , throw all ingredients in raw and cook on low 6 - 8 hrs.
