Grilled salmon in a pouch, great for camping!

  • 4 salmon, fresh, wild-caught
  • 2 med. tomatoes, red, fresh, organic
  • 1 sml. onion, any type, organic
  • 2 tbs. garlic, fresh, organic
  • 1/2 cilantro, bunch, fresh, organic
  • 1/2 c. vinegar, apple cider, organic, unfiltered, raw
  • 8 tbs. ketchup, unsweetened, organic
  • 1 1/2 tbs. coconut sugar, organic
  • 1/2 tbs. mustard, classic yellow, organic
  • 1/2 tsp. sea salt, unrefined and pure
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes, crushed, organic
  • 1/2 tbs. honey, raw, unfiltered, organic

Mix the finely chopped cilantro, tomatoes, onion, and garlic in a bowl. Slowly add your BBQ sauce until the mixture looks "saucy," about 1/2 - 1 cup or as you like. Lightly oil 4 sheets of aluminum foil and place individual salmon fillets on them. Top with 1/4 of the sauce mixture for each fillet and tightly roll/seal the aluminum foil into a pouch. Repeat for all fillets and grill on medium heat for about 20 minutes.

Directions for BBQ Sauce: Combine apple cider vinegar, ketchup, coconut sugar, mustard, salt, red pepper flakes, and honey. Mix well. That's it!
