Sauteed Asparagus

Yummy sauteed asparagus!! One of my favorites- my 4 year old loves this recipe too!


  • 1 1/2 c. asparagus, fresh, organic
  • 1/2 c. onion, any type, organic
  • 2 clove garlic, fresh, organic
  • 1 tsp. butter, unsalted, organic, raw or unpasteurized, grass-fed/pastured
  • 1 tsp. olive oil, extra virgin, unrefined and unfiltered, organic
  • sea salt, unrefined and pure to taste
  • lemon pepper seasoning, organic to taste
  • 1 sherry, cooking


Heat butter and oil, add garlic and onion. Sautee until soft and starting to brown. Add asparagus and sautee a minute or two. Add salt and lemon pepper seasoning to taste. Add splash or 2 of cooking sherry and cover for another few minutes until asparagus is tender, crisp. Yummy!!
