Maple Almond Spread

A yummy nutty and sweet spread for toast, fruit, muffins, pancakes, etc.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. almond butter, organic, raw
  • 6 fig, fresh, organic
  • 1 tbs. maple syrup, pure, organic
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon, ground, organic
  • 1/8 tsp. sea salt, unrefined and pure

Directions

Add all of the ingredients to a food processor or blender. Blend to the consistency which suits you. Please adjust the salt, sweetener, and spices as desired.

You could also take 1/2 cup raw nuts and blend/chop them in the blender instead of the almond butter. Almond butter is just what I had on hand.

This makes about 3/4 cup. I figure about 1 tablespoon per serving would work well. :)
