I ran across this old recipe the other day. I have no idea where it came from but I remember it being good! Pecan stuffed dates wrapped in bacon. :)
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Stuff each date with a pecan half. Cut each slice of bacon into 3 pieces. Wrap 1 piece around each stuffed date and secure with a toothpick. Bake on a pan with sides (so bacon grease doesn't run off into your oven) until bacon is crisp; 12 to 15 minutes. Drain off fat and serve.
This makes 30 (approx) servings. I used to make this for holiday gatherings.
