I love salmon patties with applesauce. Here's a version that I hope will work with BD!

  • 15 oz. salmon, canned, wild-caught
  • 3 egg white, from large egg, cage-free, organic
  • 1/2 c. oatmeal flour, organic
  • 1/2 c. yogurt, greek, plain, full-fat, plain, organic
  • sea salt, unrefined, & fresh ground pepper, organic to taste
  • 1 tbs. dill weed, fresh, organic
  • 2 tbs. coconut oil, raw, extra-virgin, organic

Break up salmon with hands, and then add the rest of the ingredients. Add enough oat flour to be able to handle the patties, but not too much to dry them out. Heat up coconut oil. Cook patties until very brown on one side then turn and cook on the other. I like having cold organic applesauce on the side, my husband likes a dollop of Greek yogurt with his. Bon Appetite!
