Sautéed Kale and Cabbage

This is a beautiful and tasty dish - not to mention super healthy!


  • 2 clove garlic, fresh, organic
  • 1/4 c. onion, any type, organic
  • 2 tsp. coconut oil, raw, extra-virgin, organic
  • 1 c. kale, any variety, fresh, organic
  • 1 c. cabbage, red, fresh, organic
  • sea salt, unrefined, & fresh ground pepper, organic to taste
  • 1 tsp. vinegar, red wine, organic
  • 1 tbs. water, purified


Sauté garlic and onion in coconut oil for 5 minutes - don't burn the garlic! Add all other ingredients and continue to stir for about 5 more minutes or until water evaporates. Also good topped with chopped walnuts and / or raw goat cheese crumbles! I also added a chopped up strip of bacon left over from the morning while sautéing the onion and garlic - it added a lot of flavor.
