Buffalo Burger with Arugula and Manchego

this is just a really good way to have a burger.


  • 4 oz. buffalo, ground, free-range or pastured, organic
  • sea salt, unrefined and pure to taste
  • 1 slc. sprouted whole grain bread, from organic grains
  • 1 c. baby arugula, fresh, organic
  • 1 onion, any type, organic
  • 1 tomatoes, red, fresh, organic
  • 1 slc. cheese, manchego, grass-fed or pastured, organic
  • 1 tbs. coconut oil, raw, extra-virgin, organic


Form the ground buffalo into a patty, and generously salt both sides of it.

Heat coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place patty in hot oil to sear. Flip after about 3 minutes, and add the manchego. Meanwhile, toast the bread.

When the patty is done cooking, create your sandwich: bread, arugula, tomato, burger, cheese, onion. Deeelish!
