The original recipe was taken off the internet, I have adapted this to be gluten free and program friendly. This makes 16 servings
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 9 x 9 square baking pan
In a blender, puree the beans with the oil.
In mixer - add the beans, eggs, cocoa, sugar, coffee and vanilla. Melt one half of the chocolate chips and add to the mixer. Mix on medium high until smooth.
In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to the mixer and mix just to incorporate the flour. Scrape the bowl as needed. Add the remaining chips and stir by hand. The mixture will be thick.
Pour mixture in the baking dish and spread to even out the "batter." Bake for 20 minutes. Brownies will be battle around the edges.
Remove from the oven and place the walnut halves in the center of each brownie (do not cut at this point, just visualize the center of each brownie), 4 rows of 4 walnuts.
Let cool for 15 minutes, then cut into squares.
*Each brownie would be about .25 protein and .25 carb.
