Blackened Seasoning Rub

Execellent rub for fish, chicken or steak. Makes a large batch. I primarily use it on salamon and sear the fish...excellent crust and a bit of heat.


  • 1 tbs. paprika, organic
  • 4 tbs. thyme, fresh, organic
  • 2 tsp. onion powder, organic
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder, organic
  • 1 tbs. coconut sugar, organic
  • 2 tsp. sea salt, unrefined and pure
  • 1 1/2 tsp. black pepper, ground, organic
  • 1 tsp. cayenne pepper, powder, organic
  • 1 tsp. oregano, dried, organic
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, organic
  • 3/4 tsp. cumin powder, organic


Combine all ingredients in a container with a lid. Seal securely and shake. Store in a cool, dry place. Shake well before use.
