Irish Apple Crumble

Easy, simple, GREAT Irish dessert!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. apple, red, fresh, organic
  • stevia, loose to taste
  • 2 tbs. water, purified
  • 4 tbs. butter, unsalted, organic, raw or unpasteurized, grass-fed/pastured
  • 3/4 c. flour, sprouted whole wheat, organic
  • 1/2 tsp. stevia, loose
  • 1/2 c. oats, whole, dry, organic

Directions

Peel, core, and cut the apples. Gently stew apples with water and stevia (to taste) in covered saucepan for 5-10 minutes.

Put into a dish and allow to cool while you make the crumble.

Rub butter into flour until it resembles bread crumbs. Mix with stevia and oats. Sprinkle crumble over the apple dish. Bake in preheated oven at 350°F for 30-45 minutes.
