Peel and boil potatoes. Mash potatoes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, and drizzle with butter. Knead flour in to make a pliable dough. Roll out the dough and cut into patties about 1/2-inch thick. Heat griddle and bake until golden on both sides.
Alternatively you can fry in fat (like coconut oil).
