Chocolatey, nutty, with hints of coconut, these bars will tame the urge for a brownie once in a while.
Preheat a fan-forced oven to 160°C/325°F. Place the melted coconut oil, cacao powder, and cinnamon in a bowl and combine well. Add the coconut milk, honey, egg, and almond meal and mix until combined. Line a small brownie tin or cake loaf tin with baking paper. Spoon the brownie mixture into the tin and smooth the surface of the mixture. If you use an 8x8 brownie pan, they will turn out to be very thin like bars, but if you use something smaller, they will be thicker like brownies. Place in the oven for 20 minutes. Remove and allow to cool to room temperature before transferring to the refrigerator for 60 minutes. Dust the brownie with additional cacao powder, and cut into individual portions to serve.
