Turkey, avocado, and optional bacon...yum!

  • 1 slc. sprouted whole grain bread, from organic grains
  • 1/2 med. avocado, fresh, organic
  • 2 slc. tomatoes, red, fresh, organic
  • 4 slc. cucumber, fresh, organic
  • 1/4 c. lettuce, any type, organic
  • sea salt, unrefined, & fresh ground pepper, organic to taste
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder, organic
  • 4 oz. cheddar cheese, mild, raw, organic
  • 2 slc. bacon, uncured, nitrate-free, organic, pastured
  • 1 tbs. coconut oil, raw, extra-virgin, organic
  • 5 oz. turkey, ground, grass-fed or pastured, organic

In a no-stick pan add a 1 tbsp coconut oil mix the 5 oz ground turkey, salt, pepper and garlic ( if you like spicy you can also add cayenne pepper) Make round ground turkey burgers patties ( two) let them cook for 6 min on each side (the patties will puff up but will shrink once they patties are done). ( you can make any amount of turkey or meat that you like) add cheese (optional) add bacon (optional)

Final prep Toast the SWG bread spread the avocado to the bread ( use instead of mayo) add the patties top with sliced tomato top tomato with cucumber slices and then top with 3 leaves of lettuce
