Very Yummy and healthy!! Great source of protein for us vegetarians! Recipe calls for Sesame or Olive Oil didn't have either so I used Coconut Oil and they turned out great!
Heat the oil over medium heat, add the onion, and sauté until soft, about 10 minutes. Add garlic and continue sautéing for another minute or two.
Stir in the beans, spices, and ½ c of reserved soaking liquid. Mash the beans into the liquid. If they seem too dry, add more liquid. Taste and adjust the spices.

Add some Greek Yogurt as sour cream and it tastes wonderful!! :) Calms down the very spicey cumin :)
Makes 2 1/2 cups! 5 servings of protein for vegetarians
