This is a super easy recipe for jam that has no added sugar but tastes great on your toast, oatmeal or whatever you chose to spread it on.
Let your berries thaw, then mash them with either a fork or a handheld blender until smooth (about 5 - 10 sec). I prefer the handheld blender. Add in 1tbsp of chia seeds. Let sit for about 20-30min. The chia seeds will thicken the fruit. If you want it thicker, add more chia seeds. If you want it thinner, add more fruit.
This will be as sweet as the berries you use. If you want it sweeter, you can add some stevia to taste. I find if I have good quality berries, no sweetener is required.
Makes about 8tbs. Can be refrigerated for a short time.
