Servings: 4

Delicious and nutritious. Great with Turkey, Chicken, or or Pork.

  • 1 brussel sprouts, organic
  • 2 tbs. butter, unsalted, organic, raw or unpasteurized, grass-fed/pastured
  • 1 lrg. garlic, fresh, organic
  • 1 tbs. vinegar, balsamic, organic
  • 1 tbs. thyme, fresh, organic
  • sea salt, unrefined and pure to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper, ground, organic

Optional ingredients 2 tablespoons Fresh crushed Bacon (or bacon bits) 2 tablespoons pine nuts, (as desited - for garnish) 2 tablespoons fresh parmesian cheese (as desired - for garnish)

Prep: Chop fresh thyme Slice garlic clove lengthways into small slices If using fresh bacon - Cook to crisp and grind, chop or break into small bits If using fresh parmesian - grate thin

In a steam pot: Boil water Add sprouts to steamer Steam sprouts over boiling water for 5/6 mins (don't let them get too soft.)

In an aumlet pan (while sprouts are steaming): Heat butter on low heat till melted Add garlic and bacon bits to butter and simmer Add basalmic vinegar to butter mixture Add sprouts to pan, and stir to cover spouts in mixture Cover and simmer sprouts for 3-4 minutes Before serving, top sprouts with pine nuts or fresh grated parmesian cheese as garnish if desired
