This has become my breakfast for almost 2 months and I'm still not sick of it. It's quick and easy to make and let's not forget to mention absolutely delicious.
1/2 c. water
1 med. red apple
1/2 c. Greek yogurt
1 tbsp. raisins
1 tbsp. almond butter
In a pot add water and apples. Cover pot and turn temperature to medium-low (I like to remove the lid every couple of minutes or so and shake the pot so that the water continues to evaporate. That way it softens the apples so they don't burn.
Once the apples are soft enough take a potato masher and mash the apples. Place the lid back on the pot and let any remaining water evaporate. Once the apples are cooked to your preference, place them in a serving bowl. Add the yogurt, raisins, and almond butter. Mix everything well and ENJOY! Absolutely delicious.
