Wild Rice and Hamburger Hotdish

just a quick hotdish ......wanted to use some wild rice sorry don't know the proteins/fats/carbs


    16 oz. ground beef

    2 c. long grain wild rice

    16 fl oz. chicken stock

    1 c. brown mushrooms

    2 c. water

    1/2 tsp. celery seed

    1/2 tsp. black pepper

    1 med. carrot

    1 med. onion


brown the hamburger....drain/rinse. chop up onions and carrots drain mushroom......can use fresh but didn't have any my wild rice was frozen so actually put it in pot with stock and water and boiled a few minutes.....put all into casserole and baked.
My 15 year old son loved it....I thought it needed a little 'binding',
