Whit's Trail Mix

Yummy trail mix that makes a great afternoon snack or treat. Actually seems to help me lose weight and gives me an energy boost.


    2 c. walnuts

    2 c. peanuts

    2 c. raisins

    2 c. date

    1/2 c. coconut flakes

    1/2 tsp. chocolate extract

    5 drp. liquid stevia


Combine fruit and nuts in a bowl and mix with a wooden spoon. Place coconut in a quart plastic bag and add 10 drops each of chocolate extract and Stevia. Seal bag and smoosh around until drops incorporate smoothly with coconut. Keep repeating process until coconut is semi-moist. Pour coconut mixture over fruit and nut mixture, mix well. Taste and add more chocolate and/or Stevia if you like, mixing well.

A serving is 4 oz of trail mix so you can really satisfy your snack craving!
