Walnut Cumin Burgers

Great for breakfast, lunch or dinner.


    2 lbs. ground beef

    2 egg

    1 tsp. sea salt

    1 tbsp. ground cumin

    1/4 c. walnuts

    8 tsp. butter


Beat the eggs in a bowl.
Add the ground beef, salt, cumin and walnuts.
Mix well.
Form into 8 patties. Cook on grill (or other preferred method) until done (meat is gray inside). Top each patty with 1 teaspoon butter, melted on top. Serve and enjoy:)

Recipe adapted from Barbara Doyen's "Back to Protein" cookbook. The original recipe called for curry powder instead of cumin.
