Very Berry French Toast

A wonderful bright breakfast to start the weekend.


    2 slc. sprouted whole grain bread

    3 egg white

    1 tbsp. cinnamon

    1 dsh. nutmeg

    1/2 tsp. sea salt

    stevia to taste

    1 c. frozen berries

    1 tsp. honey, raw

    1 tsp. butter

    2 tbsp. water


Berry Sauce: Simmer the berries (fresh or frozen) with raw honey and water. Once the berries are soft, mash them and finish with butter to give a gloss to the sauce. Cook to desired consistency.

Mix egg whites, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sea salt. Soak the sprouted grain bread in the egg white mixture. Cook in a hot skillet coated with coconut oil or butter. Sprinkle stevia on top of French toast covered with berry sauce. Enjoy with a freshly brewed cup of coffee!
