Tuna Tapenade

A mayo-less tuna salad that is great to add protein to a salad or make a BD approved grain sandwich


    1 c. canned white tuna

    30 pitted Spanish manzanilla olives

    1/2 red onion

    3 tbsp. capers

    1/2 lemon

    black pepper to taste


  1. Drain water from tuna. Place in bowl and separate with fork.
  2. Mince red onion, olives and add to tuna.
  3. Add capers and caper water.
  4. Squeeze lemon juice over mixture.
  5. Add pepper and mix well.
