A recipe for ketchup lovers to make their own and skip the added sugar.
2 oz. mustard
6 oz. tomato paste
4 oz. vegetable broth
1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
1/2 lemon
Just mix the tomato paste, stock, juice of half a lemon, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard together. If needed, add more liquid to loosen up. The paste tends to stiffen when refrigerated.
Notes: Water or chicken broth can be used to replace veggie broth. Mustard can be omitted, but I find it adds lots of flavor.
