Burgers with a kick!
1 lbs. ground beef
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 tbsp. fresh made salsa
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
In a small bowl, mix together chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
In a larger bowl, combine ground beef, seasonings, and salsa. Use hands to mix, but be careful not to over-mix or the patties will be tough. Shape into 4 patties, each about 3/4 inch thick.
Heat a large skillet. Melt a bit of coconut oil and then add the patties. Cook about 4 minutes per side for medium or until they are done to your liking.
OR grill the patties on an outdoor grill or George Foreman grill.
Serve on BD-friendly bread, between 2 large lettuce leaves, or just eat with a fork! Top with tomato, cheese, salsa, or whatever other toppings you'd like.
