Make this nutritious Almond Milk in just a couple of minutes. A delicious drink. No fuss, no mess. So much better than store-bought almond milk, which has unhealthy additives.
2 tsp. coconut sugar
2 tbsp. almond butter
1/2 tbsp. vanilla extract
1 dsh. sea salt
2 c. water
Put all ingredients in a blender. Blend approximately 1 minute. Voila - Almond Milk. I use my NutriBullet and about 20 seconds does it. A sprinkle of cinnamon (optional) may be added. This is a delicious beverage and can also be used instead of cow's milk on cereal, in recipes, etc.
If an unsweetened almond milk is desired for a recipe, omit the coconut sugar and/or the vanilla. A packet or a few drops of liquid Sweet Leaf Stevia or 2 dates may be used instead of the coconut sugar if desired. Using dates will add 1 carb count.
