Delicious post or pre workout snack packed with antioxidants, complex carbs and protein!
1 c. strawberries
1 c. raspberries
2 tbsp. ground flax seeds
1/2 c. Greek yogurt
6 ice
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Add strawberries, vanilla, and ice to a blender. Then add flaxseed meal and Greek yogurt. Top it all of with raspberries (doing it this way keeps the yogurt from splashing up to the lid). Blend until smooth, starting with a slower speed first. Serve immediately (if you let it stand for too long, the flax meal may start to give the smoothie a bitter aftertaste).
