Sprouted whole grain french toast topped with almond butter and strawberries.
1 tbsp. almond butter
1/4 c. strawberries
1 egg
1/4 c. Greek yogurt
1 tsp. honey, raw
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 slc. sprouted whole grain bread
1 tsp. coconut oil
Whisk together egg, Greek yogurt, honey, cinnamon, and vanilla in a low-set bowl. Soak bread in egg mixture for 1 minute on each side.
Melt coconut in a skillet over medium heat. Add soaked bread and brown on each side for 2-3 minutes.
Transfer to a plate and top with almond butter and sliced strawberries.
Optional: Drizzle with pure maple syrup.
