Spaghetti Sauce

This homemade meat sauce will rock your socks off. Enjoy it with gluten-free pasta for a delicious dinner!


    1/2 lbs. ground sausage

    1 med. onion

    2 c. white mushrooms

    4 clove garlic

    3 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil

    14 1/2 oz. diced tomatoes, canned

    1 tsp. coconut oil

    15 oz. tomato sauce

    12 oz. tomato paste

    3/4 c. water

    1/2 c. white wine

    stevia to taste

    3 tsp. dried basil

    3 tsp. dried oregano

    2 bay leaf

    1 tsp. sea salt

    1 tsp. garlic powder

    1/2 tsp. dried thyme

    1/2 tsp. black pepper

    1/2 lbs. ground beef


Brown ground beef and ground sausage in a large pot with chopped onions. When the meat is browned, drain and set the meat and onions aside.

Add coconut oil to the pot. When it is melted, add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms. Saute until mushrooms are tender.

Add meat and onions back to the pot. Add remaining ingredients to the pot. Stir to mix everything together.

Cover pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
