Slow Cooker Pulled BBQ Chicken

This family-friendly BBQ chicken is so simple to make, it felt like I was cheating. Serve on butter lettuce, Ezekiel rolls, rice, or your favorite gluten-free wraps.

Ingredients

    1 tsp. onion powder

    1 tsp. garlic powder

    1 tsp. smoked paprika

    3 tbsp. apple cider vinegar

    1 tsp. sea salt

    1 1/2 lbs. chicken breast

    15 oz. tomato sauce

    2 tbsp. honey, raw

    2 tbsp. molasses, organic

Directions

Combine tomato sauce, honey, molasses, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, apple cider vinegar, and sea salt in a slow cooker. Add the chicken and spoon BBQ mixture on top until well combined. Cook on low for 4 hours. Remove the chicken, shred with two forks, then add back to the slow cooker for 1 hour, stirring to combine.
