Before getting married, my husband and I used to visit a quaint French restaurant out of town with the most refreshing Lemonade drink. Eventually, I couldn't resist and asked for the recipe!
1 soda, club
1 spg. fresh mint
1 lime
1 c. lemon juice
1/3 c. coconut sugar
2/3 c. water
6 lime
To make simple sugar Heat equal parts of water and sugar together but do not boil.
Muddle the mint (reserve one sprig for garnish) with the simple syrup into wide bowl glasses (my favorite). Add ice cubes. Squeeze 5 lemons and limes into a jug, reserving the 6th lime for garnish (slice into 6 parts). Pour unto the simple syrup and ice cubes. Top with soda water. Stir, drop in lime slices, and decorate with the last sprig of mint.
