Raw Cacao Hot Chocolate

Make yourself a raw cacao hot chocolate first thing in the morning instead of coffee. The energy boost you get from raw cacao will last longer and won’t leave you crashing mid-morning. If you’re currently drinking more than 2 small coffees each day, easily lower your amount by making this delicious hot chocolate instead.


    1/2 tsp. cinnamon

    1 tsp. vanilla extract

    stevia to taste

    1 c. homemade coconut milk

    1 c. water

    1 tbsp. cacao powder


Combine coconut milk (or almond milk), water, cacao, cinnamon and vanilla into a small pot and heat on low. Stir gently. Pour into 2 cups. Sweeten with a few drops of stevia to taste.
