I absolutely love guacamole as an appetizer or an addition to pretty much any meal (even breakfast!) Here is my quick and easy homemade guacamole recipe that we enjoy at my house at least 2-3 times per week.
2 med. avocado
1/2 med. tomato
lime juice to taste
1/4 med. onion
2 tbsp. cilantro
sea salt to taste
Chop the flesh of the avocado, the tomato, the onion, and the cilantro. Mix all of the ingredients together, mashing the avocado as much as you'd like - some may like it chunky, some may like it smooth.
While chopping the contents of the guacamole, slice up some cucumbers, tomatoes, celery, and carrot to use as dippers for the guacamole instead of chips.
