Tasty, refreshing, satisfying, and full of good stuff!
1 tbsp. flaxseed oil
1 dsh. stevia
1 c. spinach
1 c. water
1 tbsp. coconut oil
5 whole frozen strawberries
1/4 c. frozen berries
1 tbsp. flax seeds
1 scp. Spring of Life Plant-Based Protein Powder, vanilla
I know, I said the same thing, "SPINACH?!?! In my smoothie?!?" But it really does blend in really well, and there's so many yummy flavors in this, it doesn't taste "green" at all. Great for me when I'm just burnt out on salad but still want to get in all the great vitamins and fiber of spinach! So...
Layer all ingredients except coconut oil in blender, taking care to keep powders (protein and stevia) away from edge of blender...they tend to get stuck there.
Put on lid and blend until mostly blended, then pour in melted coconut oil WHILE blender is going (otherwise, the coldness of smoothie will cause your oil to solidify and you'll have big clumps throughout; or even worse, all stuck at the bottom of blender). :-(
Finish blending 'til all combined, pour into glass, throw in a straw, and be refreshed!
