Organic Homestyle Meatloaf

Endulge in a hearty and organic version of one of my favorite recipes of the best cook in the granny!


  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 2 lrg. egg
  • 2 whole sprouted whole grain bread, from organic grains
  • 1 1/2 onion
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • sea salt, pepper, and garlic to taste
  • 4 ketchup


Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Toast bread until very dry and grind into small crumbs, In large bowl, combine all above ingredients, except the ketchup. Using your hands, knead the ingredients until very well mixed. Split mixture into 2 parts and shape into loaves. Place loaves onto pan and coat each of them with 2 tablespoons ketchup. (I use Reynolds Grilling Foil sheets on top of broiler pan so some of the grease and fat can drain into the bottom of broiling pan.) Cook for 35 minutes. Take out of the oven and cut each loaf into 4 equal pieces.
