Mushroom & Asparagus Saute

An easy and delicious side dish! Hubby & Kid tested and loved. :)


  • 1 lbs. asparagus, fresh, organic
  • 2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 2 tbs. coconut oil
  • 3 c. white mushrooms
  • 1 tsp. sea salt
  • 1/8 tsp. stevia
  • 1/8 tsp. black pepper


In a large skillet, saute asparagus and ginger in oil for 2-3 minutes or until asparagus is crisp tender. Add the mushrooms, salt, sweetener of choice (just a bit) and pepper. Cook and stir 2-3 minutes longer or until mushrooms are tender. Depending on the thickness of the asparagus stalks and the might want to cook each an extra minute or so

You could add anything to this!
