Delicious snack for your sweet tooth!
1/8 c. coconut oil
1/3 c. maple syrup
4 c. old-fashioned oats
1/4 c. flax seeds
1/4 c. sunflower seeds
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1/2 c. peanuts
1/4 c. peanut butter, creamy
1/2 c. sliced almonds
2/3 chocolate
1/8 c. extra virgin olive oil
Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
Combine dry ingredients in large mixing bowl: almonds, oats, flax seed, peanuts, sunflower seeds - LEAVE OUT CHOCOLATE!
Heat oils, maple syrup, peanut butter, salt, and cinnamon on stove over medium heat until well combined.
Pour warm sauce over dry ingredients and mix well. Spread evenly over two cookie sheets lined with aluminum foil. Place in oven and bake for 40 minutes, stirring halfway.
Allow granola to cool completely before adding chocolate.
Enjoy! I love mine as a cereal substitute with almond milk :)
