Lemon Pepper Seasoning

Make your own lemon pepper seasoning!


    2 tbsp. lemon zest

    2 tbsp. black pepper

    1 tbsp. sea salt


Preheat oven to the lowest temperature available. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Combine lemon zest and black pepper. Spread mixture on parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake until the lemon zest is completely dried. If needed, move the mixture to a spice grinder and grind until it reaches the desired texture. No spice grinder? Use the back of a spoon to crush the mixture.

Stir in the sea salt. Store in an airtight container. The seasoning should last a few months (if you don't use it all before then!).
