Lemon Chicken and Broccoli Skillet

Lemon and garlic combine to make a flavorful chicken and broccoli dish that will help detox your body.

Ingredients

    1 tbsp. coconut oil

    1/2 lbs. chicken breast

    sea salt & black pepper to taste

    1/2 c. chicken broth

    2 tbsp. lemon juice

    2 clove garlic

    2 c. broccoli

Directions

If you are following the TotalReset Cleanse, eat one serving for dinner on Day 6, and save the second serving for lunch on Day 7.

Heat coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with sea salt and pepper. Add chicken to the hot skillet, and cook for about 4 minutes on each side, until chicken is golden brown. Remove chicken from skillet, and set aside.

Combine chicken broth, lemon juice, and minced garlic in the skillet. Stir and scrape up any brown bits that are stuck to the bottom.

Add chicken back to the skillet. Simmer chicken in sauce for about 5 minutes, turning halfway through. Add broccoli florets to the skillet and cook an additional 5 minutes, until broccoli is bright green and tender.
