Kale and Chicken Sausage Skillet

This quick and easy recipe is a keeper!


    1/2 lbs. chicken sausage

    2 tsp. avocado oil

    2 clove garlic

    1 pinch red pepper flakes

    3 c. kale

    sea salt & black pepper to taste

    1/4 c. parmesan cheese


Brown chicken sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up as it cooks. When the sausage is fully cooked, remove it from the pan, and set aside.

Reduce heat to medium-low. Add olive oil, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Let cook for 15-20 seconds, until the garlic is fragrant. Add chopped kale, stir it all up, and sauté until the kale is a bit wilted and tender.

Add sausage back to the skillet, season with sea salt and pepper, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Stir it all up, and serve warm.
