Isabel's Kale Chips

Easy fat burning snack!

Ingredients

    1 c. kale

    1 tsp. coconut oil

    1/2 tsp. onion powder

    1/2 tsp. garlic powder

    1/2 tsp. sea salt

    1/4 tsp. black pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Remove stems from the kale, and break into bite-sized pieces. (Make sure the kale is dry because you don't want to steam it during baking - salad spinners actually work great for drying kale.) Arrange kale on a baking sheet, and drizzle with melted coconut oil. Season kale using the spices listed, based on your preferred tastes. Bake for 5-8 minutes. Stir and bake for an additional 5 minutes. The kale should be crisp but not too brown.
