ICE CREAM! its back on the menu :)

I can't take credit for this brillant idea. I got the recipe from the the "Chocolate Covered Katie" blog (she is an absolute genius! Healthy vegan desserts galore!). The best part is you get a huge serving for about 40 calories! Or is the best part that you dont need an icecream maker? Ill let you decide. You can add whatever you want to the basic recipe to make your favorite flavor :)


    1 c. almond milk

    1 dsh. sea salt

    1/4 vanilla extract

    1 stevia packet

    1 nut butter


Blend all ingredients together (If u want to add nut butter or fruit u might want to put everything in a blender so it has an even consistency). Pour into an ice cube tray and let freeze thoughly. Put the frozen cubes in your blender and puree the cubes (you probably will need to let them thaw a little bit first). And there you have it!

My favorite way to make this is to add instant coffee and break up small bits of super dark chocolate on top. Its like a mocha chip frappachino! NOMS!
